The last few weeks turned out to be quite productive – pet variety has increased (thank you all for your suggestions!), the game got yet another bunch of new phrases and content (credit and thanks to all players and ER voters) and the forums finally became more mobile-friendly (if you have any thoughts on mobile forums please share those in comments).
Everyone loves it when things work better than they did before and we’re no exception. That’s why in a few hours we’re going to fiddle around a bit with our servers to make them work better. That will cause interruptions and game availability issues, but hopefully most of you will hardly even notice :)
NOTICE: Due to the maintenance, the game won’t be available on Aug 4, starting at 3 AM (Pacific Time, GMT-7) for approximately 2 hours. We’ll update this post once everything is finished.

UPD: Sorry folks, but some heroes were inaccessible today due to some sudden server hardware uprising, Luckily, humans have won this time, so everything is back to normal.
Some of the new lines are hilarious as well as the new monsters. The ER is working very well. Thank you for not sitting on your laurels devs and continuing to make substantial additions to a simple text based game.

Pending a reply from the devs, if I see any new animals as pets (is Stripeless Zebra confirmed?) I will add them to GodWiki for reference.
Would anyone else with wiki editing privileges – I think you get these beyond level 15 or so, but don’t quote me on that – do the same if they can? Thanks. We’ll get the list sorted out.

My hero’s updates aren’t getting loaded!!
I’m getting notifications for things like mini-quests and whatnot, but when I open the app, it is constantly on “Getting latest updates on hero’s life…”

I am having the same problem. I just get the message ‘Getting latest updates on hero’s life…’ And then nothing ever loads.

Been having issues all day with my heroine. android App isn’t working but web was this morning, now neither work.
Having intermittent problems as well. It just came back up for me and was down for the last hour.
My heroine is back! Yay!
