Some time ago, almost by accident, we’ve got hold of a Windows Phone device. It turned out to be surprisingly good, so we thought that we’d like to have a Godville app for it. Fast-forward a few months, and today we’re happy to announce a full-blown, native Godville app for Windows Phone 8!
Not only does it supports all the bells and whistles you can find in other Godville mobile apps, it also utilizes the power of the platform with support of don’t-call-it-Metro UI, live tile notifications, lock screen support, etc. It even features a new experimental Remote Control to make poking your hero even more enjoyable! Can’t update the app
It’s a great app, but the remote controls are different to those on android, e.g. bless instead of encourage and smite instead of punish. They also seem to behave slightly differently smite hits the opponent more so, while punish his the hero more so.
Never before had I depended on the confirmation of god powers, now I must as they are so easy to accidentally hit. :/
Thanks for the wp8 app. Now I don’t have to wait until I get home from work to smite monsters/rivals. I can do it on the clock and get paid ;)
Add new plaza
The app was recently featured in the WP app Store, and it got me playing, and I enjoyed it so much I convinced another friend to join too :D Hope a WP7 app isn’t too far off!
