Lesser Known Pieces of Advice -

1. Send “return” or “go to town” commands to get godville temple bonuses before the 5^th milestone to get both charges and logs. Also send this command when your hero/heroine is near a good savings town with a large quantity of gold for a better chance of saving most of that gold.

Note that the hero/heroine is less and less likely to listen to each successive “return” command per quest. The 1^st command is obeyed easily, and it takes a few tries for the 2^nd/3^th command. It is near impossible for them to listen to the 4^th command and onwards. Also note that the hero(ine) does not like to listen to any command when they complete 2/3^rds of an epic quest.

Now, the most important part is that mini-quests(including KYM fights) reset the “return” counter, allowing you to send even more commands per quest.
I have heard(but not confirmed) that the “return” counter also resets every 24 hours.

2. If you already have an aura, and complete the newspaper crossword, instead of replacing your existing aura, it extends it. This does not work vice-versa, i.e., no other method of obtaining an aura(like Glowing Monsters, or activatable items @) extends your existing aura, but replaces it.

This trick can be used to extend good auras(like pacifism, saving or abstaining) when you have them.
Note that immortality is actually a bad aura since it doesn’t prevent dying(except from “die” command) but makes your hero(ine) less likely to use healing items on low health since they get overconfident.

You can also fill out the newspaper crossword when the newspaper is about to reset, and then immediately fill the next crossword to get a lengthy extension if the aura you got was a good aura.

3. In dungeons of demolition, Miracles don’t always destroy walls. They only have a chance to do so. If they do destroy, then they only destroy one wall rather than all the surrounding walls.

I achieved the Animalist Medal 🏅 with Snowy

On 26 March 2025, Snowy reached level 40. Congrats — you’re officially Ancient now. He hadn’t been injured by a monster (a particularly rude Fire Ent) in over 10 levels, but gained another level thanks to some very fast healing.

Now that I have my ark, it’s time to store him safely aboard and make room for a new companion to join the family. I wonder who it will be! Finger’s Crossed for a Heffalump, Double Dragon, Philosoraptor, or Landshark.

2023 April Fool’s Feats -

19:29 🏆 Judges listened to my bragging and awarded me two logs for the ark for the first three great feats I accomplished today. Then they reminded me that the feats promotion is only valid for today, asked me to step down from the pedestal and hurry to perform the next trio.
22:54 🏆 Judges rechecked me for doping, then awarded me with two logs for the ark for the second trio of feats. Marked the occasion with champagne with a chocolate medal as a snack.
12:27 🏆 After measuring the volume of liquid displaced by my heroic body, I was awarded two logs for the ark for the nine feats I accomplished today. They added a laurel wreath to the matter.

She has done numerous celebrity endorsements on products she never uses.

My Story - (Section still in progress ;)

After having completed my Careerist Rank 2 achievement, I felt I ought to go for the Honored Careerist and find a guild to settle down at till the end of time. Of course, nothing appealed me more than the Amazing Blue Feather Guild and its totem monster, the revered Arctic Firebird. I went through a long and arduous epic quest to make sure I reach the end of the map for celebrating my awesome new guild, when my application to join it was being processed. Soon after I was accepted, I received a sign from the universe itself, The Majestic Arctic Firebird came to bless me! It hadn’t even been 10 minutes since my applications were accepted, surely I was being blessed by the almighty TGR for great feats to come. Rejuvenated by the glorious sight of the first totem monster I had ever seen, I became even more determined to reach Newland for my first time and celebrate my feat. My efforts came through, and I spent an inspiring and relaxing day in Newland(I even got confetti on entering ^^) remembering my first ever guild, “games”, and the friendly peeps at my previous guild “Fairy Tale” who made me feel at home. I know that my days at my chosen guild Blue Feather will be nothing short of the best yet, and I can’t wait to introduce myself to everyone here as I climb through its ranks.

15 April 2025 – The Day of the Ark

Today marks one of the most glorious milestones of my divine journey — the Ark is complete! A thousand logs of gopher wood, collected through months of epic quests, tricky side jobs, perilous dungeon dives, and two very strategic blessings, finally lashed together into a seaworthy symbol of persistence. Divine efficiency at its finest.

Fittingly, the final log came to me in my favorite type of adventure – a dungeon run. And oh, what a dungeon it was! A cursed basement of relentless jumping, where heroes leapt into the unknown like caffeinated kangaroos. Heroes jumped wildly, veering off-course at every opportunity, and kept landing next to boss tiles without giving us any clues on which direction to dodge, making the whole place a guessing game on hard mode. The treasury boss at the end was a true monster (literally) – a Spamurai with Leeching, Nimble, Enlightened, and just a sprinkle of Pickpocketing for flavor. It hit us twice, healed from our heals, reflected our punishes, and dared us to blink.

But, miracle of miracles, the party was fully active. And my brilliant guildmate Cherim led the drive like a seasoned dungeon whisperer. They even called in their pet boss to help in the battle, alongside The Almighty Frans and Evil Frans. Triple boss backup, a sight I’ve never seen before! When the dust settled, we were bruised but victorious. And in the treasure chest? My final log… and a Token of Friendship — as if the universe itself nodded and said, “That’s teamwork.”

Now that sailing is unlocked, I can’t wait to dive into these new adventures on the high seas. Or at least flail around while figuring out how boats work. Baby steps.
