Hero's Chronicles

Beginings

The world around slowly molds from darkness as the heroine wakes from her bloody slumber

“Uuuugh, what happend? Where am I? Wait, WHO am I?” Starting out in this world, the first thing I remember is a splitting headache like someone using my skull as a punching bag and blood being everywhere as if some war had been going on for ages. Wait, did I lose my memories? The only thing I can remember is someone named RenegadeRukus, but who is that? Who am I? I stumble my way back to a town from the closest trail I found, the guards eyeing me… watching my every move as if I were dangerous. The people in this town look at me and call out “Alexandri” as if that’s my name… Is it? I find a building marked “INN” and make my entrance. The person at the desk who I’d assume to be the keepers daughter because of her youth rushed to me calling my name and screaming “Alexandri?! Someone alert the doctor! Alert the priest!” At that very moment only one thought rushed through my mind “Oh Great One, hear my plea… I am not yet ready to join you… I’m sorry”. Just as the thought passed my body emmited a faint glow that grew brighter and my head rang with a static sound with a muffle to it, it became clear to me that a voice was in my head. Who was it? Just then a thunderous voice clashed “Young Alexandri, you call me in your time of need and I will grant your wish should you accept my request for a journey, a pilgramage in my name. RenegadeRukus, your one true god.” The world around me changed, or was it the way I percieved things? All of a sudden small minute things were astonishingly clear to me. I could count the grooves in the desk across the room in a in instant 104, the emotion strewn across the girls face shock, the man outside who just dusted off a dropped bread and just took a bite gross, it had three spots of mold. Everything was as clear as day, clearer… like a fog was lifted from my mind. Just then it was apparent it would only get better for me should I accept the request of my god. The glow of my body slowly faded and all but vanished while the girl sat there holding me now with a face that spoke of utter disbelief that I now had clean clothes and the blood from my now healed wounds gone. My headache gone, I felt new… I felt tired… I need to rest… Sleep

New Life

A well lit room begins to focus as our heroine wakes up from her slumber, at some point she had been moved to a room in the Inn

I lay there and wonder if it was all a dream, like I could just close my eyes and it would happen again. Maybe I would wake up from this life and remember who I was and continue from there, but this is my new life. Saved and spared by The Mighty One now it is my turn to repay him… After I pay the Inn Keeper. Just like telepathy and as if she knew I thought of her the Inn Keeper burst into the room knocking the door into a small table with a glass of water and what looked like a brick of bread, launching them all across the room. With a strong almost Irish accent she briskly stated, “You! I heard ya caused quite the scene yesterday little lass! Don’t ya be thinking that just ‘cause yer magical hocus pokus god healed ya that ya be stayin’ fer free… Oh no no no no, if ya haven’t the gold I have chores for ya.” With that being said she introduced herself as Abigale Ursham, and her daughter whom I was apparently friends with and met…again yesterday was Lizzy Ursham. Although it could be written “Lizzie” but you can’t really tell by how it was pronounced. I thought back for a moment with an almost glazed look on my face that was anything but attractive, yet couldn’t think of a single memory of any time spent in this town. I didn’t even have to search myself to know I only had 314 gold in my posession. Just enough to get me out of here, maybe eve to the next town. While I stared blankly to the back of my own eyelids Abigale decided it best fo her to leave.
