When Sigurd was born, his father was at first confused about the weird birthmark on his son’s right butt cheek. After speaking with the local seeress, Sigurd’s parents discovered that the wolf-shaped birthmark was not only intended to be on Sigurd’s back, it was a sign from above that the boy would one day become a great hero. As the boy grew older however, he proved to be less than worthy of the title of hero. He was scared of almost everything, he had the intelligence level of a rock, and only showed a talent for fishing. The only heroic quality Sigurd had was his righteous personality. When Sigurd turned 16, he set off on his epic journey. Under the careful watch of the god Evanthenord, he will do many things.
Sigurd’s father, Sigmund, was a hero as well. Just before Sigurd’s 16th birthday Sigmund was killed by his own god, and was never revived. Sigurd swore to avenge his father’s death, and to become a greater hero than his father. Because Sigurd’s father was rarely home, Sigurd was unable to learn the basics of adventuring. But that would not stop Sigurd from stupidly venturing out into the world without any equipment.
Little did Sigurd know that his god has another hero. Evanthenord has a daughter named Evalin Evansdottr, who is also a hero just like Sigurd. Because gods can only have one hero, Evanthenord took on a second name: Blood Ulfur. Evalin, jealous of Sigurd bieng picked to be hero first by her father, strives to become stronger than Sigurd. After many days of adventuring, Sigurd felt alone…that is until he tamed a prancing pony named Fido. Together they run away from foes and stuff.
