The Untaken Path Of Enlightenment
This Chronicle is meant to be purely fictional, and any resemblance to anyone, alive or dead, is absolutely coincidental. If the person in question, however, is absolutely fictional(coughyourherocough) then you would probably note a lot of resemblance…
A heroine was known for her amazing attributes and incomparable skills. She was known for her courage, bravery, intelligence, mastery over mind, body and soul…
A heroine was meant for great things. A heroine was meant to fight destructive monsters, rid the world of evil, save princes in distress, and just save the world…
“I see..WAIT A MINUTE.” you may say. “Princes in distress? Don’t you mean princesses?”
Well. Lets not be sexist, yeah? It ain’t always the princesses getting kidnapped, it’s just that they’re more publicized, since it seems to be status quo that a princess gets kidnapped. I mean, a princess gets kidnapped, the kingdom goes into chaos, and everyone rushes to save her. But if a prince gets kidnapped..as your hero(ine) would say after buying an item, “Ho ho ho.” Even if the prince was rescued, he’d be shunned, the king’d be shamed, the kingdom would collapse, and they’d live out the rest of their lives being peasants and eating nothing but potatoes! (Mm, potatoes..uh, moving swiftly on..)
So now you see.
Now, apparently, this heroine, along with the majority of heroes and heroines in GodVille, was, to put it nicely, meant for other things. She didn’t seem cut out for all these ‘great things’ stated above.
Well, to put it bluntly: she ran away from battles. She bought useless items. She wasted money. She couldn’t fight for nuts. She couldn’t find her way. She took everything too literally(“But Lord, you did ask me to break a leg, and so I have..”). She couldn’t even save herself at times, let alone someone else. Practically all of the hero(ine)s were, simply put, idiots, imbeciles, and simply just unthinking drunkards.
But we can’t just blame them, can we. For who created them? Their Gods, of course. What went wrong in the creation process that caused them to be missing their brain(or at least, some major part of it)?
A God was supposed to be omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent. A God was supposed to have control over everything, supposed to have the ability to change anything he wanted to…
A God was supposed to be enlightened.
But apparently, this God in question, wasn’t.
In the process of playing this game, he was enlightened to all the things above, things he never knew about hero(ine)s. He learnt that getting people to listen to him was harder than it seemed, he learned that he couldn’t see everything that happened(darned 10 diary entry limit). He learned that he couldn’t just do anything he wanted, he learned that sometimes, even his ideas were crap(evil ideabox rejection..). He learned that he couldn’t always control what happens(arrogant mortals..LISTEN TO YOUR GOD), and he learned that he too could make mistakes(although I continue to stand by my statement that the mispress of the punishment button was the touchscreen’s fault, not mine).
Through this journey that this God in question has taken(although with this being a ZPG, if I technically even took this journey is arguable, hence it is an “untaken” path), he has learnt many things.
“I need to ask God to grant me forgiveness for these mistakes I’m making,” he sometimes thinks, while waking, before fully waking and realizing that he himself IS God.
But don’t hold it against him, would you? After all, he was conceived at the same time as his hero…
Thanks for reading, and sorry that it’s so long(or maybe not. Some people’s chronicles are REALLY long.) Hope you enjoyed it, and finally, thanks to all – you’ve made this experience a really enjoyable one for me.
