Godville..
(weapon clashes)
Home of the gods and goddesses,
(battle cries)
And to heroes and heroines.
(arrow shot)
They say champions were made here, in this very city.
(screams of death)
Saved the world from countless monsters,
(unsheathes sword)
But all I could see..
(monster roaring)
Are just..
(sword shimmering)
“A bunch of wimps.”
(swings sword)
“KRAAAAAAAGGHHH!”
(thump)
“Hmph.” (sheathes sword)
“Suprisingly easy.”
The name’s Catherine, Catherine Frost, family of the Frost. Pretty fancy name for a family if you ask me. I grew up in a small home near Godville with a family of six. My mother, 2 brothers and 2 sisters, and myself. From when I was five, I was trained to become a great swordsman by my father, Xalvador Frost. Lord Xalvador to be honest. He’s the captain of the king’s army for being the most trustworthy and the strongest in his time. I was taught archery, swordsmanship and a bit of wizardry by my mother. Though, I was never really good at all those, given trained by the most powerful human beings in the world.
Even so, it never really bothered me, being the fifth daughter of the Frost family. All the golds and glory was conquered by my eldest brother, Hadrian Frost. He’s one of those cliché-type hero in fairy tales. A silver armor with a shield and a sword. People say he has my father’s strength and looks. Which really hides the fact that he’s a bit infuriating sometimes. All brawns and no brains to put it simply. Still, when you go all brawns and no brains, you kinda get a powerfully built, muscular, boulder-throwing mercenary. He fought countless battles, not to win, but to fight.
The second of Frost, Lux, short for Luxanna, was more of a sorceress compared to my buffed-up, empty-headed brother. She’s a prodigy in all of these spells and incantations you may have heard of. Summons, blizzards, auras and all those magical stuff. She’s so good that even healing spells can kill monsters (how does that even work?). Most people came to her for a lowly-priced-heal that costs less than a health potion downtown. Most of her time she spends it in her laboratory specially built with her magic under our house. Funny how that thing was proclaimed to be an ‘accident’ by my sister when my mother discovered a three-eyed rat under the basement (it was horrifying).
As for the third… It’s probably best to be mentioned along with the fourth, as apparently, they are twins, brother and sister whom people call ‘The One’. Not like the chosen ones, no. In battles, their combinations of tactics are so perfect that you’d think for a second that they’re clones of one another.
