More Ports in Seas
For ages, Godville’s capital enjoyed a total monopoly on sea trade. Well, the provincial towns got jealous and they’ve finally built their own docks. So now while sailing, you’ll often spot new ports: some are visible from the start, while others hide in the fog.
Anchoring at one lets your hero offload booty as usual, but they’ll step off the ark into that specific town instead of the capital. And to know where you’re heading before you dock, just tap the port icon (assuming you use the latest iOS or Android app).
New “Know Your Monster” Season
Our monster quiz is back for a new season! Every day, “Godville Today” will publish a questionable picture of a local monster. Guess its name correctly to get a special gift for your hero. Each season lasts 2-3 months, don’t miss it.
Odds and Ends
Three more things:
- Keep an eye on the newspaper for a new spoilered forecast. On these days almost every quest reward will be revealed upfront. And remember, you can use a spoiler artifact to reroll the quest prize.
- Relic hunters can now find the Relic of Boldness. Equipping it makes your hero look so daring that strong monsters will be more likely to pick a fight.
- Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day! Bosses are so overwhelmed with love they’re practically offering their enamored hearts. Don’t miss the chance to carve out a lovely trophy.

Idea: if your hero has both the retirement and ark fully completed, he can occasionally be a ferry that brings manimal or fenimal from the capital to the ports (lore implies that that’s how some islands could have animals in them). Basically, reverse ark main goal hahaha
So, if you get the “Relic of Boldness” stronger monsters will fight you more often?
Hurray on the ports and hearts! Any chance that one day Know Your Monster will go back to using human-created art rather than ai-generated images? Even simple stick figures or crude photoshops are better than the prettiest slop.
