Hero's Chronicles

On a hot and balmy night, the sky was scattered with dark clouds, something powerful was stirring. An abandoned child lay still on the side of the road. Left there by his dying mother with hopes that a good and decent family would find him and care for him. Instead, an evil disfigured man, who was on a quest to map the dark side of the moon, stumbled over him. This man may not have been the mother’s intention, but there was an uncontrollable force at work.

This strange man whose name and motives are unknown to this day picked up the child and strapped him to his back and continued on his way. He took the child on his quest to use as bait when he faced trouble along the way. Little did he know that this would be his undoing. Something about the smell of this child drove monsters crazy with hate. The unknown man would be attacked wave after wave of deranged monsters. Occasionally, a force more powerful than the man could comprehend would intervene smiting monsters with vibrant bolts of fire from the clouds.

A year passed by and the disfigured warrior began to grow weary and weak from constant threats. So he knelt down in the middle of the road and raised the child above his head. He cried out to the omnipotent force that had been watching over him saying “I am no longer fit to protect this child, save me, rid me of this burden!” With a thunderous clap, the man was struck dead with the fire that had protected him so many times before. The child fell to the ground after having his left ear scalded off. The child was once again abandoned.

As the child lay wrapped in the dead arms of the man who had failed to protect him, a warm glow came over him. The child had transformed from a weak tiny thing to a grown rugged young man, filled with unexplainable knowledge of fighting, speech and writing. The young man looked longingly to the heavens for answers. A booming voice knocked him off of his feet saying, “Guinnikus, I have much planned for you do not dissapoint me!” and with that Guinnikus was struck by a rod of light that made him feel invincible! Guinnikus replied “I will do your bidding my god Ukuleleous!”

And so it was for the next 10 years, Guinnikus fought and destroyed thousands of monsters that longed for his blood. After each skirmish he would chronicle his work in a diary for he knew that his god Ukuleleous was watching over and reading his thoughts. Wondering everyday, what his god had instore for him… time will only tell.
