Hero’s log Day 689 g.e.
Another day, another gold brick or two for thy devine temple. The endless stream of monsters never seem to end.
Today during an Arena battle, my God actually encouraged me a few times. I think He was worried that I was about to lose the battle. The good side is that I won (in His devine name, of course). The bad side is that two encouragements dropped me down several hundred places and a few pages in the pantheon of destruction. I could sense His rage, for as soon as the battle ended, I got several rapid-fire lightning strikes of punishment. The good news is that one of the lightning bolts actually turned most of the gold in my bag into a gold brick. Oh goody, now I’m one small step closer to building the devine temple.
Maybe tomorrow will be better…
