Hero's Chronicles

12/27/11: What a day at the bars today! I feel like I haven’t been to many recently. Definitely haven’t spent nearly enough time at them when I was there. Today, I got 2 Priceless Gifts that sold for ridiculous amounts that got me ranked 53 in Greed and leaving me with enough money to spend 4,367 gold coins total today. I spent some time before going to the bar in Godville composing a guild song. It goes like this: We’re forever drinking beer/To wash away our woes/I broke brick eight/To lose is my fate/And now I cannot find a date/Beer is the cause and solution/To all of life’s problems/We’re forever drinking beer/To wash away our woes! I was asked to sing it many times and many rounds were bought for me. Of course, I returned the favor, which ended up costing me 2,671 gold coins (all of which were well spent I believe). I think it’s beginning to affect my memory though….I see I haven’t updated my chronicles in well over a month.

11/18/11: What a day. I found myself with 4 bricks- 1 from a skirmish, 1 from a quest, and it seems that 2 were bought, though I can’t remember doing so. 6 bricks in less than 24 hours if I count 2 from late last now. The first of those would be my 100th brick. Wonderful! And not so long ago I fought my 10,000 monster. I even made myself a new friend, Notsosuperman, who shared his chronicles with me. What fun!

11/14/2011: The highlight of my life here in Godville is every opportunity to beat my archnemisis, Altina, in small and ridiculous little ways. Especially when I can rub it in her face in the most well timed ways. Met her in a pub today. She started bragging about her equipment. So I told her of my most recent addition to my equipment: my new cowbell talisman. An impressive +26 piece of awesome equipment thus ruining her bragging streak. Ah sweet silence…

10/31/2011: The day is off to a good start. Started out with an unexpected skirmish with the mighty Wowbagger. After winning the arduous battle, I found some wonderful items to sell off and an extra 524 coins. I was able to use the money I made to melt two more brics for my goddess. Am I doing you proud Skeatsie?

10/30/2011: After an amazingly productive week, I have suddenly become very sluggish. I think TheGourdGod has stolen my power and luck to use on his own little heroine, Altina, she seems to be having some ridiculous and undeserved luck today. The little braggart hasn’t shut up recently about how far ahead of me she is in completing her temple, or her prowess in battle, or how many friends she has, or her stupid pet. I shall come back to defeat you yet you little ninny! You haven’t heard the last from me! I will get back into action just as soon as I take a nap… And perhaps have a few drinks… Yeah, that sounds like a great plan.

10/27/2011: Finished two quests, got two bricks. Bought 2 more. I feel good about finally getting into the Pantheon of Creation even if I am placed 24,053. I have to catch up a few places sometime soon. I don’t like to save my money though, so I think it may take a while to melt them. I don’t buy them often either. I will go back to the last save point some time tonight, maybe I will get another one then. I have a good streak of that.

10/26/2011: Got a much needed haircut and a brick stolen from me today. This Cynlarin character simply would not let me pass. I wasn’t running at him, I was trying to run past him. I didn’t mean to thrust my microwave gun into his ear. I was just trying to draw his attention to it in hopes of scaring him out of the way. He just continued to beat me until I was unconscious then stole my things. I didn’t even know we were fighting! That hair won’t do you much good, Cynlarin…It hasn’t been washed or brushed in 3 weeks. No one wants a rat’s nest.

10/23/2011: My poor Nibbler died this morning protecting me. I went hungry and sober to save up the proper amount for your resurrection. Chazza von Herostein made the mistake of insulting my dear Nibbler. We fought. I won, aquiring some of her hair and a golden brick in the process. Hope Chazza von Herostein learned a valuable lesson (take note Altina, you may be next if you listen too close to TheGourdGod). Shortly after my skirmish, I made my way to Tradeburg to sell off my loot. Chazza von Herostein’s hair sold for an incredible 10,755 coins. I walked away with 13,680 coins in all, putting me at number 7 in the Pantheon of Greed. I celebrated with several rounds of drinks for everyone at the Khaki-Colored Dragon costing me a mere 2,735 coins. I then resurrected my dear Nibbler! I still had enough left over to melt into 2 more golden bricks! With the brick from completing my quest, from the skirmish, and one bought on a return trip to Tradeburg that puts me at a total of 5 bricks for the day. Best worst day ever!

10/20/2011: I simply must brag about my 5 golden bricks in 24 hours. That doesn’t happen often enough.

10/19/2011: You know, one of these days I’m going to remember to update my chronicles when good stuff happens. Like the day I listened to two idiot gods argue about who’s hero’s pet was better. All I heard for over an hour was “would” and “wouldn’t”. And it seems my argument with Bulletproof Monk was more serious than I thought. I keep seeing him around, looking all angry and threatening. I’ve been avoiding him- I’m just not ready to face him yet. On a brighter note, I dug for treasure a couple of times and found 3,000 coins which mysteriously turned into a wonderful gold brick. Everyday I’m getting closer to finishing the temple! ...What? I’m only 4.7% complete?! I thought I was so close with my 47 bricks! This may take a while…

10/13/2011: Lost my Bulletproof Monk yesterday but made up for it by finding myself some buried treasure (1920 coins worth) and Nibbler. Of course, he has already started chewing on my items…Good day nonetheless.

10/7/2011: Bulletproof Monk tried to run away. Bought pink fuzzy handcuffs to make sure that doesn’t happen again. Not sure how he likes them but I must say, they bring out his eyes.

10/6/2011: Got new equipment today. Bulletproof Monk is my new shield. So now Seann William Scott is with me wherever I go. Amazing, that must mean I finally got a date. It still counts even if I paid, right?

9/30/2011: Eriq refused to step aside. So we fought. Naturally I won, finally got my first gold brick in a quite some time and aquired a spork and a lock of Eriq’s precious hair.

9/29/2011: Finally learned a skill today: tin throat. I can now turn traders throats to tin and crush them to get better deals. Awesome.
