Hero's Chronicles

October 8, 2012, 8:20 A.M. EST:

As of 7:58 this morning, after 741 days of slogging through mud, slaying 82853 monsters, and enduring 67 cycles of reincarnation, my hero Outpost Searcher, has finnally completed my temple, the 2725th such to be completed. In my divine benevolence, I have decided to reward my hero by recording his future deeds in the Hallowed Halls of Heaven for my lesser kindred to read in awe and wonder for the rest of eternity.

September 27, 2013, 1:36 A.M. EST:

My hero was standing in the sunset, looking across the golden rooftops of Godville, with the breeze ruffling his hair, contemplating all 999 quests he had completed so far. A passerby called up from the street, “What’s with the epic pose? Did you climb the tallest beanstalk to get a bird’s-eye view of Godville, or something?” A brilliant idea for his 1000th quest!

On a related note, I really need to take a closer look at the space time continuem, or at least time-zone distribution. Sunset at 1:36 A.M.? Really?
