Background noise
One must suppose, in such circumstances as these, that at one point there was a beginning.
Now, quantum physics and any other branch of such a science has all sorts of arguments against this. But quantum physics (and all other branches of science, at least the sane non-pseudo sections) forgot to factor in a rather late appearing God.
This God, perpetually confused and shouting drunken obscenities in dead Latin language called himself Omnifloyd. At one point he dropped some clay and a heroine popped up, screaming and shouting to be noticed amongst the thousands of others.
This heroine, known as Photina (with ‘the Great’ being an extension she’d often correct one with) is pure of heart (though her personality is not encouraged enough to show it), and pure of mind (though her IQ limits one’s perception of that), and finally pure of liver (though her rampant heroic style alcoholism might make one, and said liver itself, feel slightly differently).
No Good Deed
A somewhat misplaced sense of justice, truth and honour could make stated statement somewhat true (and somewhat more understandable once acquainted with Elphaba the secretly good witch).
And so it is. That is not to state, however, that Photina is not worthy of her apparent surnames (‘the Great’ apparently being scribbled onto her birth (well, appearance) certificate in a red sharpie). A temple complete after a year, plenty of dead monsters and an extraordinary talent on the electric kazoo, used to defeat the Antichrist before the Godville admins even found out about and made an update involving it. Which is why you’ve probably never heard of it, savvy?
Arko Polo
Photina ‘there should be a great in there somewhere’ the Great currently is building an ark like the majority of temple holding champions, though she cites her reasons for doing so as different to most, claiming to simply be building an international cruise ship enterprise to earn her fortune, as opposed to surviving some important dangerous flood or something.
Her quest leads her far and not so much wide, but it’s hard to tell as the world map is confusing and non-existent. Whatever she does, she does in the name of whoever she can remember, as it rightly should be. ‘Onwards, for Steve!’
