Light. That was the first thing he saw, as he opened his eyes. He warily stood up and took in his surroundings. He was located in the center of a celestial temple which rested in a grove far from civilization. The walls were a blinding white, as the sun pierced through the window.
A shiver crept down his back, knowing he wasn’t there alone. A soft voice broke the silence and he swiftly spun around, only to find himself face to face with a glowing blue orb.
“Your name is Meta-K02," it spoke, “and you are to follow my orders. In return, I shall give you warmth and safety… or perhaps the opposite? It matters not. You needn’t worry, I will guide you.”
“Who are you?” asked Meta-K02 curiously and tried to poke the levitating orb.
“I am Night Falls,” And with that, it vanished.
Meta-K02 pondered on the words, of which Night Falls had just spoken of and set off on a long journey towards Godville.
Night Falls’ voice rang in his head.
“Let terror reign on those who dare cross your path! Strike fear into the hearts of innocents and spread darkness across the land…”
As he ran through the grove, he heard the thunders rumble from above…
