Spadruke, created in the image of MbRich, was formed from mud, straw, and kool-aid on day 554 g.e. When the breath gave life to his soul, a covenant was formed between hero and god. MbRich promised Spadruke that he would prosper, and would have an easy life of joy and peace but he must obey certain restrictions. The only 2 commandments given were to worship MbRich and taste not of the drink of good and evil. Spadruke readily accepted the commandments and began his quest for building MbRich’s golden temple. In the first days, MbRich encouraged Spadruke showering health and life over him while fighting beasts and monsters. When Spadruke got to his first town, Beerburgh, he had a choice that could be made, he could use the 3400 gold coins to purchase a shiny gold brick for his god’s temple or he could squander it on booze and waste half a day hung-over. Through peer pressure, he tried his first drop of liquid gold. MbRich was furious. He reminded Spadruke of the consequences of tasting of the drink of good and evil. The wrath of MbRich was shown through a series of lightning bolts and liquid fire raining down from the heavens. Spadruke apologized profusely and told his god that more punishment would be required to keep him in line and to keep the drink out of his hand.
02:08 Seriously, Almighty? You expect me to get up and quest with a hangover like this? 02:09 They say that lightning never strikes the same place twice. Well, my Lord has just proven that wrong.
Now Spadruke, scarred and singed, worships his god in fear of the punishment that is always just moments away. He was furiously gathering gold bricks to complete the temple construction in an attempt to redeem himself and appease MbRich in hopes of stopping the constant punishment. How wrong he was to find out that was simply not the case. MbRich became an evil God throughout his punishments of Spadruke and knows not how to use positive encouragement. After 198 days of punishment and torture, Spadruke placed the final brick on the temple and prayed for encouraging signs.
08:40 752 g.e.
Carefully placed the last brick, swept all the rooms, opened all doors, and in cut the ribbon a stately manner with my sword. I can’t believe it’s finally happened! After all these months of work, the temple in your name is finished, my Lord! I feel crazy with happiness.
08:41 I was backstabbed with a bolt of lightning. My god, was it for the bad thoughts I’ve been having about you?
To deal with his pain and torment, Spadruke has surrounded himself with other like-minded (dim-witted) heroes in what is known as a guild. “Harvest Moon” is a group of tormented souls gathered together under constant punishment and persecution. Know as the most evil and destructive guild, “Harvest Moon” has the most temples built than any other guild. Spadruke’s mentors and closest friends, in alphabetical order by hero name:
