The Mighty Kirby comes from a strange world called Popstar. The King of Popstar is the ruler of this planet and also a god here on Earth. Popstar is mostly peaceful, but there was one person who disrupted this said peace! The self proclaimed ‘King’ Dedede tried to steal all of the food in Popstar, with his minions doing most of the dirty work. The Mighty Kirby fought many monsters and other dangers to finally get to King Dedede’s castle. (Of course he didn’t have to, he could have hidden like everyone else at the sight of the thieves.) When the Mighty Kirby reached the center of the castle, he squared off against King Dedede. The following hours were long and grueling, but finally the Mighty Kirby defeated King Dedede and sent him away from the land. He then proceeded to carry the whole load of food back to the city, where they had a feast in honor of the Mighty Kirby. The peace returned to Popstar, and the Mighty Kirby had a chance to look elsewhere for adventure, presumably Earth, as he soon headed there. The Mighty Kirby used a warp star as his main mode of transportation, and traveled on one here to Earth to learn the ways of a Hero and make his god proud. He is making slow progress towards building a temple and killing as many monsters as possible.
Some news from my hero

I finally got an idea approved on the Ideabox! It’s an earthly news that says, ‘following the psycho-path…’ Finally my hero has made me proud!

CHAPTER 1
The first moments as a hero
The Mighty Kirby’s warp star was shooting through space, a thin aura of air surrounding it. He was following his god, the King of Popstar, who had told him nothing but the fact that they were traveling to the planet called Earth. The Mighty Kirby peered through the gloom, trying to see past the glow of his warp star. Suddenly, a small blue and brown dot appeared, gradually getting closer and closer. As he entered the atmosphere, he held on for dear life and prayed to his god that he would land safely. The next thing he knew, there was a jarring shudder and a ‘Moo!’ of surprise as he bounced off a cow and landed on the hard ground. As he stood up and brushed himself off, the Mighty Kirby noticed that a large gate with a magnificent entrance stood before him. The sign that was hung above the entrance read, ‘Welcome to Godville’. The Mighty Kirby took his first steps through the gate as a hero.
Places to go, sights to see
As the Mighty Kirby walked into the city of Godville, the first thing that stood out to him was a run-down shady building that had a sign stating that it was a tavern. He went inside and was immediately thrown out, due to his lack of money. The Mighty Kirby was reluctant to leave, but he knew he couldn’t go back until he had some cash. The next place he went to was a shrine in the center of the city. There he prayed for a way to get money, or, the Mighty Kirby thought, even better, a way to get into the tavern for free. The King of Popstar took pity on his hero, and He said, “You must find someone who needs a quest completed. Then go and do whatever you have been told to do, and also kill as many monsters as you can. You receive gold for killing monsters and completing quests. Then you may come back to Godville to stop by the tavern.” The Mighty Kirby immediately thanked his god and went in search of a needy person in the city.
The first quest
The Mighty Kirby found exactly the person he was looking for, a small old man who looked kind, not to mention wealthy. At first the man was suspicious of the Mighty Kirby, but when he quickly explained that he was in need of a quest to complete, the old man smiled and gave him his first quest; watch the grass grow. The Mighty Kirby automatically agreed, and set out of the city to watch the grass grow. A few days later, the Mighty Kirby came to a large field with tall, lush grass. He sat down on a tree stump and slowly completed his quest. After he felt that he had done nothing but watch the grass grow his whole life, he turned around and made his way back to the city of Godville.
Golden bricks and beer
When the Mighty Kirby found the same old man, he explained how he had been in the field, watching the grass grow. The man gave him a bag-full of coins, and then something else, gold and heavy. The Mighty Kirby stumbled away under the weight of the heavy golden thing. He went to the shrine and asked his god what the ‘gold thingy’ was. A loud voice boomed from the skies, “That is a golden brick, and you will be collecting many of these throughout your journeys to build me a temple. It is one of your main goals in this life. Now you have my permission to go to the tavern and get a drink.” The Mighty Kirby was quite doubtful that he out of all people would build a temple, but if his God said so, then it must be true. Now that he had money, he headed toward the tavern. He was allowed in this time, and he ordered a fresh beer. What happened in the tavern that day is lost to history, but the Mighty Kirby had a great time, and it was probably gross.
Death
The Mighty Kirby fought many monsters, defeating them all, or at least running away from them. But there was one time where he couldn’t escape with his life. As a huge monster swung its weapon in for the final blow, the Mighty Kirby’s last thought was; What about the beer?; thus greatly annoying the King of Popstar. The Mighty Kirby opened his eyes and found himself standing among a vast field of clouds. He turned around and saw a magnificent palace standing a little way off, with angels flying around like hummingbirds. The Mighty Kirby walked towards the palace as if he were in a dream. As he entered through the open door, a long hallway stretched out before him. At the end of the hallway, the Mighty Kirby saw a glowing bar with endless rows of glasses filled with beer on the counter. He gasped with awe and excitement, and started running towards the bar. He vaguely heard ‘Chariots of Fire’ playing from a loudspeaker above his head, but he only cared about the beer. He tripped once, falling on his face, but got up and kept moving. Eventually, he slammed into the counter, knocking several glasses onto the ground. He grabbed one that was still standing, and right as he was about to take his first sip, the world went black. The Mighty Kirby woke up a moment later at the shrine in Godville clutching a mysterious note in his hand from his God. “That will teach you, now move!” He sat there for a minute, then muttering to himself, the Mighty Kirby walked off to finish his quest.
