- My God told me that atheism strikes him as less of an insult than religion. He also said he used to be an atheist until he realized he is God!
- If God doesn’t like the way I live, let him tell me, not you.
- Rather than facts driving beliefs, our beliefs can dictate the facts we choose to accept. They can cause us to twist facts so they fit better with our preconceived notions. Worst of all, they can lead us to uncritically accept bad information just because it reinforces our beliefs. This reinforcement makes us more confident we’re right, and even less likely to listen to any new information (Joe Keohane)
- I believe I’ve stumbled upon a revelation about The Main Man. I found an ancient scroll which seems to indicate that Emthyu eons ago was simply a business man with a case of boredom. He then fashioned my “reality” for His sheer amusement. So in other words I’m fighting for my life daily just for His kicks. What a di.., I mean jerk!
