Fight journal (step 14) ▼ ↻ 14:15 In the red corner of the arena — Grunch. In the blue corner — Thingy67. The judge makes the heroes equal and gives the go-ahead to the duel. This fight has a special rule: arena priests set the maximum action limit to 2 (instead of 4) for this fight. 14:15 Grunch started to sing a ballad to Thingy67 in a surprisingly powerful voice. Thingy67 was suddenly struck with a sonic boom. 14:16 Grunch got punched so hard he saw dots before his eyes. He then connected them to make a smiley face. Neat. 14:17 Grunch poked Thingy67 gently. Thingy67 suffered, but withstood the pain. 14:17 Grunch makes a nasty comment about the weather, and a nearby stormcloud sends down a lightning bolt in retaliation. Thingy67 threw sticks and stones at Grunch since words failed to cause any damage. 14:18 Grunch lightly slapped his opponent. Thingy67 started sobbing uncontrollably. 14:19 Thingy67 barked “Grunch – kill!” and drove his enemy knee-deep into the ground. 14:20 Grunch caught Thingy67 copying entries from his diary. Thingy67 burned with shame and looked emotionally hurt. 14:20 A bright rainbow appeared on the battlefield. Beautiful, Emthegod! Thingy67 swung hard, landing a blow on the opponent’s shoulder. Grunch will remember it for quite some time. 14:21 A blow, another blow! Thingy67 felt his head go flat. 14:22 Excited spectators are chanting, “Rah-rah-rah!”. 14:22 Grunch deftly dodged a strike to the knee by taking it with his head instead. 14:23 A peal of thunder distracted the fighters. It seems like it was Thingy67’s doing… Grunch noticed that his rival was feeling some sort of pressure in the jaw area and used his fist to relieve it. 14:24 Thingy67 is shocked when a meteorite stays on its course and slams into Grunch. For once, Thingy67 was paying attention! The referee blows his whistle for half time and both duelists head to the changing rooms to worship their gods. 14:24 Thingy67 suddenly bit his enemy’s ear, almost tearing his head off. 14:25 Grunch is unconscious. Thingy67 successfully fulfilled the goal of praising his deity! The winner got richer by 454 coins and a golden brick. *\\*********** A not such a great day with the Boss

04:25: A disturbed Hulking Level Boss roars menacingly and rushes to the hero.
04:25: Level Boss squeezed the enemy so tightly that everything went dark before his eyes.
04:25. Grunch slapped Level Boss. It seems that the tooth fairy is going to visit him tonight.
04:26: Enraged Level Boss ranted and raved at the opponent.
04:26: While Level Boss was busy counting crows, Grunch crept up from behind and did his dirty business, removing several points from his rival’s health.
04:27. Level Boss tried to blind the enemy with a snow-white smile. Unfortunately, yellow snow is not very blinding.
04:27. Grunch attacked with a spark strike. Level Boss showered the surrounding area with sparks.
04:27. Level Boss took a great swing, yawned tiredly and decided to have a short nap.
04:28. The fighters took a break to shoot the breeze. Unfortunately for Level Boss, the breeze ducked while Grunch was shooting and he took the brunt of the attack.
04:28. Level Boss struck as hard as he could. Grunch fell head over heels for him.
04:29. Grunch teased his opponent and Level Boss executed a perfect roundhouse kick to his own face.
04:29: Level Boss lay lifeless on the ground. As Grunch approached, he suddenly sprang up and attacked. The “playing possum” strategy worked!
04:29: The Level Boss was too tough for me, so I bribed it with 176 gold coins and ran away. What a pity that I won’t be able to complete this mini-quest.
