April 23, 2012 …“20:44: Felt a burning desire to examine the deus ex machina. Sadly, my notarized death certificate was inside. Strange, I don’t recall that particular death, but it’s simply impossible to appeal a notarized certificate.”
The hero fell silent after realizing that no matter how hard you try, you can never escape death, even knowing it never happened…and accepted the increase in death from 23 to 24, because after all it is just a game.
April 24, 2012 " 02:50: Suddenly wanted to examine the deus ex machina and make someachieved. eful out of it. Bad luck – an angry gremlin jumped out of it, snatched 756 gold coins out of my pockets and vanished."
Seems that bad luck is striking the hero from his item bag more often than it should. Don the Great is not liking the “deus”.
May 3, 2012….This god, and his hero quickly realized that it doesn’t matter the strength of the armor or my experience level i have attained…after being knocked off by a character named “desh”, who was 4 levels below me, and had equipment 10 points below mine…this game has lost quality points to me….why have weapon or character stats if they don’t mean dick in a fight….that loss sucked.
June 17, 2012… 05:32: Felt a burning desire to disassemble the deus ex machina. Found a notarized document inside stating that I’ve died fewer times than I thought. Splendid. Finally it works in my favor.
January 22, 2013…15:40: Carefully placed the last brick, swept all the rooms, opened all doors, and cut the ribbon in a stately manner with my sword. I can’t believe it’s finally happened! After all these months of work, the temple in your name is finished, my Lord! I feel crazy with happiness. …Never has my hero in the length of time serving under me has he felt pride and happiness as he had when he finally laid the last brick to my temple. It was a lot of hard work and many gold coins and real-world dollars later…the goal has been acheived. Thank you Don the Naive.
