From the minute of his birth,Henrius wandered the land in search of adventure. From the beginning,he served the cause of Good when he wasn’t spending all his money at the tavern. His god had moderately high hopes for him. Henrius was accompanied by his faithful pet otter,Nessie, who was of little use in battle but at least provided him with company on his travels. He was not an impressive fighter but what he lacked in skill was almost made up for in determination.
One day Bronn spoke to Henrius and said,“I must leave you for some time,Henrius. Fare well until I return.”
For many weeks Henrius fought monsters without the aid of his god, with only his faithful otter for company. He fell from the service of Good and became neutral, serving only himself, his desire for treasure as well as his thirst for beer.
Then one day Bronn returned. For months afterward, reunited with his god,Henrius returned to the business of righting wrongs and once again became a righteous man.He completed the great task of building a temple and gained the power of making miracles. Life was good.
Suddenly, without warning,Bronn was betrayed by other gods and struck down, cast out from Heaven. He became concerned with matters other than the adventures of his hero, and fell silent, leaving Henrius to his own devices.
Abandoned by his god,the hero Henrius walked alone, neutral in the battle between Good and Evil, with only the faithful otter Nessie at his side.
Once again Bronn returned, and brought Henrius back to the service of Good. The hero’s labors continued. He built a great Ark, as Bronn commanded, and became a prophet in his guild. He became invictus.
