Hero's Chronicles

Winston Thomas was a lowly pirate on a ragtag crew of other lowly thieves sailing on the Nile River. One day, after stealing some water from the river without the river gods watching, Basalt appeared to Winston. Basalt brought forth the news that, He and only He, was the one true God. Basalt new of the weaker, rodent like gods that watched over the meaningless earthly vermin, but they did not compare to the massive amount of power and destruction that Basalt could carry. Winston claims to have spilled water on his pants, but Basalt knew that he had gotten the full attention of Winston.

Basalt charged Winston with the great deed of ridding the world of one evil monster at a time. Winston didn’t even know that the world had any monsters in it, but Basalt struck his hero with a river reed and corrected Winston’s vision so he could see the monsters around him. So Winston quit his lowly pirate ways, and set out on a miraculous journey. He no longer knew the world as it was, but saw the world as it is now. The cities changed, the environment shifted, and the other gods of earth were revealed in their true form.

Winston now continues his journey with his trusted Sun Dog, Boo, smiting monsters and any hero that gets in his way. Death can not stop Winston, but a tavern has the unique ability to distract Winston, as well as help him unknowingly lose some of his gold coins. His journey is a dangerous one, but he fights everyday to earn gold bricks in order to show the devotion to his God, Basalt.
