Hero's Chronicles

One crispy, lonely day the mighty god Ares felt quite melancholy. All the other heavenly beings had odd little heroes, running around doing the god’s bidding. He decided that he would also do this! So he began.

Over and over he tried to do just this. But, all of them failed to meet his requirments. Twelve times, he tried to make a hero, and all were rejected. One was to fat, another had no legs, several were not even human at all!

Then, in all the rage built up from his previous faiures, he did it. He had made a hero. He named him Elijah and was quiet pleased with himself. To this day, both bear the number after their name. This confuses many, but know it is known!

However, all was not as it seemed…in his deperate attempt to complete his task Ares-13 had neglected to eat or even drink! Of course, such things are just for pleasure for gods, but the feeble heroes need such sustenance. So the drink, which is needed in the making of heroes, was lacking in Elijah’s case. This resulted in the poor hero having a thirst for drink, that could never be quenched. No matter what he drank or how much he drank of it, it would never satisfy his unending thirst.

So now the young hero is stuck in a neverending cycle of killing monsters, jacking their money, spending it on booze in hopes of quenching his thirst, and getting zapped for doing just this.
