Chronicle 001 – The Beginning
Sometime ago, a hero was born. Nobody knew he was a hero, because he was so stupid. Everyone liked him anyway.
His name was Rydian, and he prayed to the holy god Aliaxus. He embarked on countless quests, fought many monsters, died and was ressurected, died and was ressurected […], died and was ressurected, collected gold bricks for the Temple of Aliaxus, killed a cow, choked on a donut, tamed many pets, and joined a prestigious guild.
Rydian still prays to the holy Aliaxus, albeit when he isn’t drunk or fighting.
Chronicle 002 – The Temple of Aliaxus
On the fifty-third minute of the tenth hour of the twenty-sixth day of the eleventh month of the two-thousand and twelth year of the Gregorian Calendar, the hero Rydian completed the beautiful Temple of Aliaxus.
01:53: Carefully placed the last brick, swept all the rooms, opened all doors, and cut the ribbon in a stately manner with my sword. I can’t believe it’s finally happened! To this day, Rydian and Aliaxus have been an (almost) unstoppable duo of fighing, pet-taming, and unfortunately, drinking. Rydian now works tirelessly to collect three million gold coins for a prosperous and auspicious future.
