Herculysses was born on a pig farm. His mother always insisted no man had visited the farm in years but would never explain who the father was. As a child, his mother would tell him that he had the strength of a boar (“a strong, handsome, virile young boar”), and she would chuckle to herself. He received his “education” under the renowned pig-guru Wilbur, and by the time Herculysses was 10 years old he struck out from the pig farm and wandered toward Godville.
